Having completed a degree in Business and Psychology at Dublin Business School, Ciara started her insurance career in a local independent retail broker in 2012.

Ciara moved to London in 2014 to gain wider insurance industry experience.

While working for a number of large International Insurance Brokers and Companies she gained valuable cross disciplinary experience in a number of areas including, claims, direct commercial business placement, binding authority supervision and most recently sitting on the Board of a Captive Reinsurance entity.

Ciara moved back to Ireland, joining iCare Brokers in February 2023 as Business Development Manager and was appointed as Chief Executive Office in May 2024.
